Sean Lyons For President
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Statement from Sean Lyons:
I support the bipartisan bill that has passed the US Senate and has fallen apart since then. Biden has equally said that if a bipartisan immigration bill hits his desk he will sign it. Everyone has been talking that it's the fault of the front running candidate in the republican primary, but to stop everything that every was head over heals for, doesn't make sense, so if you listen to a usurping candidate, remember, he is not the president at this time.
There has to be a straddling of listening to who is likely to be the president for the next four years and the one who will have to go with his tail between his legs at the end of the general election. Currently this is the best we have for funding and extra support to the border. If a new president comes along after the general election, then it can be modified, bolstered, or stricken. Otherwise we get nothing for who knows how long.
How can providing any amount of resources, especially without any pork barrel or other funding for other things that are irrelevant, is something to turn away from. I urge all US Senators and US House Representatives to vote for this bill, because it's the best we got. Biden is the current president and he is open to sign it, especially when it provides more judges and more resources to the over capacitized Border Patrol. I want to support the Border Patrol in what they are doing as well as Texas in marking trespassers for possible expulsion.
Waiting a year until we get something different, maybe, doesn't mean something in the iterum isn't acceptable, especially when Biden is awake and ready to sign the bill for something.
Something is better than nothing in this situation.
All The Best,
Sean Lyons
